Actor and comedian Sunil Grover displayed a grounded, rustic side as he washed clothes at a roadside hand pump, drawing attention on social media.
The performer shared the video on Instagram. He wore a light pink T-shirt and black sweatpants.
He placed a bucket of laundry beside him. Grover rolled up his sleeves and scrubbed the garments himself.
Sunil Groverthen pumped water and splashed his face, maintaining an unembellished, natural demeanour.
He chose not to write a caption. Instead, he added the classic melody Na Tum Hamen Jano by Hemant Kumar from the 1962 film Baat Ek Raat Ki as background music.
Grover has often celebrated modest living. Last month, he posted another video in which he sat on the floor and prepared rotis over a traditional chulha.
He kneaded the dough, shaped evenly rounded rotis and roasted them directly over the open flame. He captioned that clip, “Friends Roti kha lo …”.
On the professional front, Grover currently appears in The Great Indian Kapil Show, which streams on Netflix.
