Sharing on social media platform X, Suniel Shetty posted a heartfelt note celebrating Farah Khan’s spirit and generosity. Suniel Shetty previously worked with Farah Khan in the 2004 action drama Main Hoon Na, which marked her directorial debut. The film featured Shah Rukh Khan, Sushmita Sen, Suniel Shetty, Amrita Rao, and Zayed Khan, alongside Kirron Kher, Murali Sharma, Kabir Bedi, Boman Irani, and Naseeruddin Shah.
Suniel Shetty played the antagonist in the film, earning praise for his intense performance. Main Hoon Na follows Major Ram Prasad Sharma, who goes undercover as a college student to protect a general’s daughter. He also works to reunite with his estranged family.
Main Hoon Na gained recognition for addressing the Indo-Pakistani conflict neutrally, combining action, drama, romance, and comedy. It became the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2004, behind only Shah Rukh Khan’s Veer-Zaara.
Suniel Shetty will next appear in Ahmed Khan’s comedy film ‘Welcome To The Jungle’.
