The filming of Cocktail 2 has officially wrapped, with lead actors Shahid Kapoor, Kriti Sanon and Rashmika Mandanna marking the milestone alongside director Homi Adajania.
The team celebrated the occasion with visible cheer, fuelling excitement around the much-awaited sequel.
Homi Adajania took to Instagram to announce the completion of the shoot, posting a lively photograph with the cast. The image, captioned with affectionate notes such as “Love you fools” and “Fun was had!”, reflected the camaraderie on set. The filmmaker described the project as particularly special for him and thanked the cast and crew for their support throughout production.

Kriti Sanon was quick to respond, leaving a heartfelt comment and later resharing the post on her Instagram Stories with a message expressing love for the team. Rashmika Mandanna also joined the celebrations, continuing her tradition of offering fans glimpses of the on-set atmosphere through light-hearted behind-the-scenes content.
Adding to the film’s growing buzz, Rashmika recently shared a playful moment from the set where she experimented with cinematography, jokingly suggesting a second career behind the camera. Such candid updates from the actors have kept fans engaged during the shoot.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films and written by Luv Ranjan, Cocktail 2 remains tightly guarded in terms of plot details. The original Cocktail, released in 2012 and starring Saif Ali Khan, Deepika Padukone and Diana Penty, went on to become a cult favourite.
Audiences are eagerly anticipating the sequel, which the filmmakers plan to release in cinemas in 2026.
