Although their on-screen union in Dunki is still months away, Shah Rukh Khan and Rajkumar Hirani have already begun to get along because of another project, Jawan. Shah Rukh has disclosed that the Dunki filmmaker was the first to contact him following the release of the Jawan trailer online.

SRK is the star of the mass action blockbuster Jawan, which is being directed by Atlee, who is best known for the massively successful Tamil films Theri, Mersal, and Bigil. The movie’s teaser was unveiled on Thursday to enthusiastic reviews, and Hirani shared these sentiments.

When questioned about Hirani’s reaction to the Jawan teaser during a Twitter Ask SRK session, the actor said that the director had seen some of the movie and “really likes” it.

Jawan is to be released on September 7
On September 7, Jawan is scheduled for release. Shah Rukh Khan will reportedly play both a father and a son in the film. An army officer and a police officer were among the characters played by Khan who were briefly shown in the Jawan trailer.
SRK reacts to people on Twitter
When a fan saw him in the role of a police officer in the movie Jawan and asked how he felt, SRK replied, “proud,” adding that he hoped the nation’s police officers would recognise his contribution. He wrote, “Very proud! I hope the police officers who provide such wonderful service to the nation are aware of it. #Jawan”
A Twitter fan asked the actor how he would sum up the three personas in one word, starting with his army officer character from Main Hoon Na and ending with his most recent one from Jawan. “Upright, honest, and patriotic,” declared Khan.

In response to a question from a different fan asking if family members could watch Jawan, Shah Rukh tweeted, “Yes, the whole family can watch it. Anyone can enjoy watching it. When another fan questioned whether Khan would lose interest in supporting “outstanding experiments” like Fan or Zero if the actor’s itch wouldn’t go away due to Jawan’s enormous popularity, Khan responded, “Lots of the actor’s itch in #Jawan also gets scratched, my man.”
