
Veteran actress Neetu Kapoor fondly celebrated April 13, remembering it as the day she got engaged to the late Rishi Kapoor in 1979.
In a touching tribute shared on her Instagram stories, Neetu posted a black-and-white throwback photo of the couple smiling together, evoking memories of a cherished chapter in her life.

Filmmaker Subhash Ghai also paid tribute to Rishi Kapoor during the 45th-anniversary celebration of Karz at the Red Lorry Film Festival.
Sharing a photo of Neetu Kapoor receiving a commemorative trophy on behalf of her late husband, Ghai wrote, “When Neetu Rishi Kapoor paid her tribute to her husband Rishi Kapoor looking up to God. It was really an emotional moment for all of us.”

Rishi Kapoor passed away on April 30, 2020, after a prolonged battle with leukemia.
Doctors diagnosed him in 2018, treated him in New York, and declared him cancer-free before he returned to Mumbai.
Sadly, his health declined again in 2020, and he breathed his last at the age of 67.
Neetu Kapoor’s posts continue to serve as a living memory of their journey together, full of love, resilience, and cinematic legacy that lives on in the hearts of millions.
