Later that day, a case was filed by the Oshiwara Police under sections 171, 419, 500, and 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) against Uorfi and other individuals in the video. These sections deal with defamation (500), personation (419), wearing apparel or carrying a token used by a public servant with fraudulent intent (171), and actions taken by multiple people to further a common goal (34).
