Marvel Studios on Monday unveiled the trailer for ‘Avengers: Doomsday’, offering fans a first look at the next chapter in the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) and teasing a large-scale multiversal conflict featuring several iconic superheroes.
The trailer showcases multiple crossovers, bringing together characters including Thor, Captain America and Black Panther. It also marks the return of Robert Downey Jr to the MCU, this time portraying the iconic villain Doctor Doom in what promises to be a defining battle for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.
The trailer also features Chris Evans, who is shown wielding Mjolnir once again.
The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Chris Evans, Chris Hemsworth, Pedro Pascal, Paul Rudd, Anthony Mackie, Florence Pugh, Vanessa Kirby, Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Wyatt Russell, Channing Tatum, Simu Liu, Ian McKellen, Tom Hiddleston, James Marsden, Patrick Stewart, Joseph Quinn, Sebastian Stan, David Harbour, Letitia Wright, Lewis Pullman, Kelsey Grammer, Kathryn Newton, Danny Ramirez, Winston Duke, Alan Cumming, Hannah John-Kamen, Rebecca Romijn, Mabel Cadena and Tenoch Huerta Mejia.
Avengers: Doomsday serves as the first instalment of the Marvel Multiverse Saga finale and sets the stage for Avengers: Secret Wars.
The film’s scale, multiversal storyline and unexpected casting choices have generated significant excitement among Marvel fans worldwide.
Kevin Feige, Louis D’Esposito and Jonathan Schwartz produced the film, while Anthony and Joe Russo of the Russo Brothers directed it.
Avengers: Doomsday will likely release in theatres across India on December 18 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
