Filmmaker Karan Johar said on Monday that Shah Rukh Khan, his famous friend, will not be participating in the current season of Koffee with Karan, a well-liked celebrity discussion program. Although he was a frequent participant in the chat program, Shah Rukh has not appeared in the last few seasons.
What Karan mentioned
As a buddy, Karan stated that he respects and acknowledges Shah Rukh Khan’s choice and that he will get in touch with him when the “time is right.” “I simply believe that Shah Rukh Khan is the megastar who has earned the right to speak when the time comes. I should be understood because I have been his closest friend and family out of all of us. The actor remarked, “I have that leverage because he is family to me,” on Monday night at a Koffee With Karan event in Mumbai.
“He has never refused me when I beg or seek something from him. I didn’t ask since I knew he didn’t want to be in a precarious situation where he had to turn me down. I am selective about what I request,” he remarked.
As per Karan’s statement, he is also biding his time to invite the superstar to appear on the show. “I’ll question him when the moment is perfect. I have faith that he will talk when the time comes. When he does, it will be incredible since Shah Rukh Khan is the best at doing interviews. He is the best speaker there is,” he remarked.
Every other day, Karan said, he talks with Shah Rukh. Since I spend every night watching “Koffee with Karan” with him, I don’t miss him in that way. Shah Rukh, Gauri (Khan’s wife), his family, and I get together almost every evening. I’m conversing like that. He said, “I know you might miss him, but I’m satisfied because he plays such a significant role in my life.
Aside from press conferences for promotion and social media sessions called #AskSRK, Shah Rukh has not participated in any interviews with the media in the previous four years.
