India to Host Miss World 2023, Marking its Triumphant Return after Almost Three Decades
In 2023, India will host the coveted Miss World international beauty contest once more, nearly three decades after the last time. The exact dates for the widely anticipated 71st Miss World edition have not yet been decided, although November of this year is most likely the day.
The international pageant was last held in India in 1996 “I’m excited to announce that the 71st Miss World Final will now take place in India… We can’t wait to introduce the rest of the world to your distinctive and diverse culture, world-class landmarks, and magnificent settings. “The 71st Miss World 2023 will showcase the Achievements of 130 National champions in their one-month journey across ‘Incredible India’ as we present the 71st and most spectacular Miss World final ever,” At a news conference on Thursday, Miss World’s chairperson and CEO, Julia Morley, stated.
The month-long competition, which will feature participants from more than 130 countries, will feature a variety of strenuous activities like talent presentations, athletic contests, and charitable undertakings — all intended to emphasise the qualities that make the competitors change ambassadors. Karolina Bielawska of Poland, the reigning Miss World, expressed her excitement at handing over the crown in this “beautiful country” that shares Miss World’s values. She is currently disseminating information about the beauty contest in India.

India may offer the best hospitality in the entire world. Despite the fact that this is my second time here, you made me feel welcome. You share the same beliefs about diversity and harmony. Your basic values include love, respect, family, and kindness, and we would love to show this to the rest of the world. There is so much more to see here, and it would be the ideal idea to invite the entire globe here for a month and showcase everything India has to offer, according to Miss World 2022.
The incumbent Miss India World Sini Shetty, who will compete for her nation in the fast-paced competition, expressed similar excitement and anticipation about India hosting the event. “I can’t wait to meet all of my sisters from around the world and welcome them to India by showcasing the diversity and true values of India. Truly I am looking forward to and enthusiastic about this experience. Sincerely I hope you enjoy your vacation in India,” she remarked.
The six Indian winners of the prestigious distinction are Reita Faria (1966), Aishwarya Rai (1994), Diana Hayden (1997), Yukta Mookhey (1999), Priyanka Chopra (2000), and Manushi Chillar (2017).
