Actor-politician Pawan Singh has spoken about his outlook on life during his appearance on the streaming reality show ‘Bhojpuri Bawaal’.
The actor revealed that repeated setbacks have changed the way he views hope and expectations.
Pawan Singh said he has gradually replaced hope with detachment and now prefers to focus on his responsibilities. He added that concentrating on his work and maintaining a peaceful life have become more important to him.
The makers of the show released a special video on Wednesday featuring a conversation between Pawan Singh and actress Jannat Zubair.
Jannat Zubair asked the actor whether hope or disappointment had been more prominent throughout his life.
Pawan Singh responded that he had reached a point where he no longer expected hope to play a major role in his life. He said he had turned to God and accepted that he could no longer depend on hope.
The actor explained that he now wants to remain ‘neutral’, continue working, stay happy and devote time to his family and close associates.
Pawan Singh’s personal life has frequently remained under public scrutiny, with his marriages and past relationships attracting considerable attention. His first wife, Neelam Devi, died by suicide in 2015, a tragedy that has continued to remain part of discussions about his personal life.
His association with actress Akshara Singh also generated controversy after she made allegations concerning their relationship.
An FIR was registered against Pawan Singh in 2019 following allegations involving threats and objectionable content on social media.
Pawan Singh married Jyoti Singh in 2018, but their marriage later became the subject of a prolonged legal dispute.
Pawan Singh’s latest remarks reflect his current approach to life, with the actor saying he would rather concentrate on his work, family and inner balance than continue placing expectations on the future.
