The much-anticipated trailer for War 2 was unveiled on Friday, giving fans a thrilling glimpse into the YRF Spy Universe’s next chapter. Starring Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr, the film’s trailer declares a powerful message, ‘India first’.
Hrithik and NTR Jr Take Oath in Style
The trailer opens with Hrithik Roshan pledging to become a ‘faceless shadow’, while NTR Jr vows to be a ‘weapon’, both characters seemingly locked in a battle driven by patriotic duty.
The two-and-a-half-minute clip delivers intense action, fast-paced chases, and powerful imagery, emphasising the characters’ loyalty to the nation above all else.
Kiara Advani appears to play Hrithik’s romantic interest and also showcases her action skills in several sequences. A nostalgic moment in the trailer reveals Tiger Shroff through a photograph, as Hrithik’s character Kabir reflects on past events from War (2019).
Trailer Ends With Bhagavad Gita Shloka
The trailer concludes with the iconic Bhagavad Gita verse, “Karmanye vadhikaraste ma phaleshu kadachana”, which translates to, “You have the right to work only, but never to its fruits.”
The verse underscores the theme of duty over outcome, echoing the film’s core message of selfless service to the nation.
Both Hrithik Roshan and NTR Jr shared a collaborative post featuring the trailer on Instagram. The post was captioned, “Get ready for the storm, the WAR begins now! #War2Trailer is out!
