Bollywood actor Govinda sustained a bullet injury while cleaning his closet, with new details emerging about the incident. The actor was preparing for a trip to Kolkata when a malfunction involving his gun’s broken lock led to the unfortunate mishap.
Sources reveal that while Govinda was organizing his closet, the gun, which had six bullets loaded, misfired, resulting in a bullet striking his foot. He was promptly rushed to a hospital in Juhu for treatment. At the time of the incident, Govinda’s wife, Sunita, was in Kolkata.

Medical staff at the hospital successfully removed the bullet from Govinda’s leg. Doctors have indicated that the actor will remain under observation for some time before he can be discharged.
Earlier in the day, actress Kashmera Shah, the wife of actor Krushna Abhishek, visited Criti Care Hospital to see her father-in-law. Arriving hurriedly, she declined to speak to the media due to the family’s distressing situation. Notably, tensions have existed between Krushna and Govinda for the past few years, making Kashmera’s support during this time particularly significant.
Krushna Abhishek also updated fans on Instagram regarding Govinda’s condition, stating, “Mama is feeling better now. Thank you all for your prayers and love. Wishing him a speedy recovery. God is kind. Please let your prayers keep pouring in.”
