Global Fans Flock To Mumbai To Celebrate Shah Rukh Khan’s 60th Birthday Outside Mannat

Mumbai’s Bandra seafront transformed into a spectacle of joy and emotion as thousands of fans from across India and around the world gathered outside Shah Rukh Khan’s iconic residence, Mannat, to mark the superstar’s 60th birthday.

Admirers arrived from countries such as Japan, the United Kingdom, the UAE, Nepal, and Indonesia, carrying posters, placards, and banners while chanting his name and singing songs from his celebrated films.

Among the many moving stories was a mother-daughter duo from the UK who had followed Shah Rukh’s career for over a decade. “We’ve been his fans for 12 years. I’m an artist, and he knows me; he’s even mentioned me several times. I’ve met him three times,” the mother shared with ANI.

The two captivated the crowd by reciting the actor’s legendary line, “Don ko pakadna mushkil hi nahi, namumkin hai,” followed by a spontaneous rendition of Tujhe Dekha To Ye Jana Sanam from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge.

Japanese fans displayed handmade banners, while a Dubai-based group sang songs in his honour. “We’ve come all the way from Dubai to celebrate his birthday. We wish him good health and happiness,” said Preeti, one of the visitors.

Devotion from India’s Heartlands

The celebrations also saw the ‘SRK Warriors’ from Kolkata, who travelled for 33 hours by train to join the festivities. “We hoped to see him today, but even if we don’t, we know he feels our love,” one fan said. Despite police restrictions due to the large turnout, the group managed to reach Mannat, reflecting the undying devotion that defines SRK fandom.

Every year, Shah Rukh greets fans from Mannat’s balcony, waving and thanking them for their affection, a sight cherished by millions.

However, this year’s celebration had a twist. The actor is currently residing at his Pali Hill home while Mannat undergoes renovation. Yet, the iconic bungalow remains a pilgrimage site for fans, who continue to gather at its gates, a testament to the unbreakable bond between the superstar and his admirers.
