Gadar 2 was released at the New Parliament House
The movie’s producers organized a special showing of the movie for Lok Sabha members in the New Parliament House in New Delhi. Gadar 2 will be screened five times daily for the Lok Sabha members in the New Parliament building beginning today at 11:00 a.m. for the next three days.
The fact that a movie will be shown before Lok Sabha members for the first time is by itself a tremendous accomplishment for the Gadar 2 crew.
The star cast of the movie
Sunny Deol, Ameesha Patel, and Utkarsh Sharma play the main characters in the film, which is directed and produced by Anil Sharma.
Gadar 2 is a follow-up to the popular movie that debuted in theatres in 2001. The movie, which takes place during the 1947 Indian Partition, stars Sunny Deol as truck driver Tara and Ameesha Patel as Sakina.
In Gadar 2, Tara Singh is seen crossing the border in a risky attempt to free his son, Utkarsh Sharma, who is being held captive in Pakistan.
The movie has completely overtaken the domestic box office, surpassing the coveted 400 crore record.
Competition of Gadar 2 against Pathaan and Bahubali 2
Gadar 2 is expected to compete with Pathaan and Baahubali 2 at the domestic box office, according to trade analysts. Pathaan now holds the record for greatest domestic grosser with a total of 543.05 crore, while Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has amassed a total of 510.99 crore.
Sunny shared his happiness on Instagram when the movie earned 400 crore.
Sunny shared a video of himself thanking the audience for their interest in Gadar 2 and said, “Thank you, everyone, for your interest in Gadar 2. I never anticipated this happening. We have surpassed 400 crore and will continue to do so.
