Today marks the official release of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani in theatres. Excellent reviews have been given to the movie, praising the performances of the major actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as well as the supporting ensemble, which included famous performers Jaya Bachchan, Shabana Azmi, and Dharmendra. Jaya Bachchan portrays Dhanlakshmi, Ranveer’s severe and stern grandma, who caught some attention as soon as the trailer was published. Abhishek Bachchan had previously praised his mother’s movie. On Tuesday night, a special screening of Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani was arranged for the film community. The movie’s star, Jaya Bachchan, joined her children, Shweta Bachchan Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan, during the screening. On Friday, July 28, the day the movie was released, Shweta posted a review of it on Instagram. She praised Karan Johar for his flawless filmmaking and showered her mother with affection, explaining that she had pushed herself to do something uncomfortable for Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
