Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have announced that they are expecting their second child, bringing joy to fans across the country.
On Sunday, Deepika shared the news through a heartwarming post on Instagram.
The image featured their daughter Dua holding a positive pregnancy test, clearly revealing the happy development. She kept the caption simple, using two evil eye emojis to accompany the post.

Bhumi Pednekar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, and Parineeti Chopra were among those who congratulated the couple and expressed their excitement.
Deepika and Ranveer’s love story began on the sets of Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Their relationship grew steadily, and Ranveer proposed during a holiday in the Maldives in 2015.
The couple chose to keep their engagement private for several years. They eventually married in a grand ceremony at Lake Como on November 14 and 15, 2018, in the presence of close family and friends.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Dua, on September 8, 2024. They shared that her name means ‘prayer’, expressing gratitude and joy at her arrival.
Known for their strong on-screen chemistry, Deepika and Ranveer have starred together in films such as Bajirao Mastani, Padmaavat, and 83, earning widespread appreciation from audiences.
