Overall, the Hindi version has now amassed approximately Rs 72.69 crore, reflecting the film’s broad appeal among viewers.
The film recorded an overall Hindi occupancy of 41.58% on Saturday, peaking at 61.70% during night shows. Cinemas across major cities reported packed screenings, with audiences praising the star cast’s performances and the film’s patriotic action sequences.
The extended Republic Day weekend is expected to further amplify collections. Positive word-of-mouth and social media buzz have reinforced audience turnout, signalling that the film’s momentum is likely to continue in the coming days.
Border 2 has also performed well internationally, earning Rs 15.5 crore from markets in the US, UK, UAE, and Australia over the opening weekend. The film’s appeal among the Indian diaspora, particularly for its action and patriotic themes, has contributed significantly to its worldwide total, which now stands at over Rs 88 crore.
The presence of veterans like Sunny Deol, combined with younger stars Varun Dhawan and Diljit Dosanjh, has been pivotal in attracting audiences across age groups.
