Arun Govil, who played Lord Ram in Ramanand Sagar’s popular television series Ramayan, has offered his opinion on Om Raut’s Adipurush. In reference to the updated version of his own TV program, which is based on the epic Ramayana, he has dubbed the movie “Hollywood ki cartoon.”

Prabhas plays Raghava in Adipurush, while Kriti Sanon plays Janaki and Saif Ali Khan plays Lankesh. Manoj Muntashir wrote the dialogue, while Om Raut directed it. Since its debut, the movie has received criticism on social media for a number of sequences and conversations that were unpopular with the audience. Some of them include “marga bete” (we will beat you), “is this your aunt’s garden?” (your dad will be envious), and “bua ka bacha hain kya.”

Adipurush: Arun Govil

Arun claimed in an interview with ABP that, despite not having watched the movie, the Adipurush makers had received his suggestions following the publication of the teaser. He asserted that it is wrong to make comparisons between modernism, mythology, and the Ramayana. He declared that he opposed using colloquialisms in the Ramayana’s historical context.
What was wrong with the portrayal of Adipurush that we have all known and loved for so long.” Arun asked the news station when speaking about the character. Why did things need to change? It’s possible that the team’s lack of sufficient faith in Lord Rama and Sita is what led to these changes.

Changes to be made in dialogues

The creators of Adipurush have chosen to change the conversation in response to such criticism. “The makers are revisiting the said dialogues, ensuring that they resonate with the core essence of the film. “The same will reflect in theatres in the next few days.” This choice demonstrates that the team is dedicated and that nothing is beyond the sentiments of their fans.
