Bigg Boss 20 has been witnessing shifting relationships and growing tensions inside the house, with the latest episode drawing former contestant Gauahar Khan into the controversy surrounding Qazi Touqeer.
After watching the episode, the Bigg Boss 7 winner came out in support of Qazi and criticised the housemates for targeting him, particularly while he was unwell.
In her Instagram Stories, Gauahar praised Qazi for standing up for himself despite the pressure and highlighted Mahhi Vij for continuing to support him.
Gauahar said genuine friends should remain supportive during difficult situations rather than add to someone’s distress. She questioned the changing equations between Qazi and Aman Gandhi, Uditi Singh and Arishfa Khan, who had previously shared a close bond with Qazi and Mahhi.
According to Gauahar, their relationship appeared to change after the Weekend Ka Vaar episode. She questioned whether such friendships could be considered genuine when support disappeared during a challenging phase.
Qazi became emotional after Arishfa, whom he reportedly considered like a daughter, appeared to turn against him. His reaction affected Gauahar as well, leaving her emotional while watching the episode.
Gauahar said she rarely developed such a strong connection with a contestant despite watching several seasons of Bigg Boss. She praised Qazi for remaining genuine and encouraged him to continue playing his game without being overly concerned about others’ opinions.
Gauahar applauded Mahhi for standing firmly by Qazi when others appeared to distance themselves.
Gauahar’s reaction has added another dimension to the ongoing controversy inside the Bigg Boss 20 house.
