Veteran film producer Anand Pandit has joined hands with legendary music composer Anu Malik to launch a heartfelt musical tribute to Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on his 150th birth anniversary.
Anand Pandit and Anu Malik will release the song titled ‘Iron Man of India’ today to celebrate the statesman’s vision and dedication to uniting the nation.
Sung and composed by Anu Malik, the song serves as a moving homage to Patel’s indomitable spirit, highlighting his courage, leadership, and commitment to India’s unity after independence.
Speaking about the tribute, Anand Pandit remarked that Sardar Patel’s wisdom and diplomacy played a defining role in safeguarding India’s territorial integrity.
“Historians often emphasise how Sardar Patel’s resolve and administrative acumen united the princely states at a crucial time in history. On his birth anniversary, Anand Pandit Motion Pictures feels honoured to associate with Anu Malik to pay this musical tribute,” Pandit stated.
The track, written by Vikki Nagar with music arrangement by Aamir Khan, encapsulates Patel’s foresight and enduring legacy.
Song Launch and Creative Team
The song ‘Iron Man of India’ will premiere simultaneously on the Panorama Music YouTube channel and the APMP channel. Ravii Sharma directed and shot the video, while Anand Pandit Motion Pictures produced it, Sadique Iqbal edited it, and Akeel Shaikh created the visual effects.
The visuals aim to artistically capture Sardar Patel’s monumental role in shaping modern India. They also depict his steadfast efforts in consolidating over 560 princely states into a unified nation after independence.
Known as the Iron Man of India, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s contribution to nation-building remains one of the most defining chapters in India’s history. His leadership during the Bardoli Satyagraha and his unyielding vision for unity continue to inspire generations.
Through this musical homage, Anand Pandit and Anu Malik seek to immortalise his legacy in melody, reaffirming his enduring influence on India’s national consciousness.
