Legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan has spoken warmly about his time on the set of Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC), calling the experience special and almost poetic amid a hectic shooting schedule.
Writing on his personal blog, the 82-year-old actor reflected on his demanding work routine, noting early call times and long shooting hours.
Despite the exhaustion, he emphasised that his moments on the KBC set stood out as truly meaningful.
“However the time spent on the floor of KBC was special .. almost a poetic symposium of recitations and the understanding of each verse, both from the contestant and the one that presses the black squares now you are the ones that ‘make the show’, is something that I repeat and live each day on the sets, it is the truth. I deeply appreciate the affection and love. May I continue to be worthy of such love?
Deep Connection with Fans & Contestants
Big B also shared images of himself greeting his fans outside his residence. He affectionately refers to them as his ‘extended family’ (EF) and expresses gratitude for their enduring support.
“The everlasting affection from all those that come, even in inclement weather, is a boon that shall never be forgotten. You are so I am”
He added, “You are the ones that ‘make the show’, is something that I repeat and live each day on the sets. It is the truth.”
In a notable highlight from the current season, Bachchan hosted the Indian Women’s Ice Hockey Team on KBC. He celebrated their bronze medal win at the Asian Games.
He called it ‘a revelation’ and ‘such a privilege’, admitting that many viewers, including himself, were unaware India even had a women’s team in the sport.
“No one believed this team, and they proved it,” he said, praising their resilience and determination. “NEVER say NEVER to a lady… they shall prove you wrong.”
