Amitabh Bachchan congratulated the Indian men’s 4×400 relay team on their historic qualification for the World Athletics Championship final on August 27 through Twitter. The superstar, however, also chastised the analysts for failing to highlight India’s achievements.

In a tweet, Big B wrote, “And India.. JAI HIND..!!!! Congratulations from the entire world, and from what I can tell from the commentary, there isn’t a word for the Indian team; instead, it’s all about the third and fourth places, even though we qualified by placing a very, very close second.
Muhammed Anas Yahiya, Amoj Jacob, Muhammed Ajmal Variyathodi, and Rajesh Ramesh were on the Indian men’s 4×400 relay team. In the semi-finals, the Indian team achieved this feat by creating a new Asian record with a timing of 2.59.05 seconds. They broke the mark set previously by a Japanese team.
