Actor Allu Arjun appeared at the Chikkadpally police station on Tuesday for questioning related to the December 4 tragedy during the premiere of his movie Pushpa 2: The Rule.
The Telangana Police had issued a notice asking the actor to cooperate in the investigation. The notice stated, “Your presence is essential to elicit answers about the incident and, if necessary, visit the scene of the offence to ascertain the facts.”
The tragedy occurred when a massive crowd gathered to see Allu Arjun at the premiere. The situation escalated as the actor waved to fans from his car’s sunroof. A woman named Revathi lost her life in the chaos, and her son, Sri Tej, sustained injuries.

Following the incident, police arrested Allu Arjun. He was later released on bail after furnishing a bond of ₹50,000.
Protests demanding justice for the deceased have intensified. Security outside the actor’s residence has been tightened after protesters attacked his home on December 22. Earlier in the day, Allu Arjun’s father-in-law, Kancherla Chandrashekhar Reddy, visited his residence. The actor was later spotted leaving his home.
The investigation continues as police seek to determine the exact circumstances that led to the tragedy.
