Bollywood star Akshay Kumar shared a significant update on his upcoming comedy Welcome to the Jungle by confirming that the film has officially wrapped. Terming it one of the biggest projects of his career, he expressed heartfelt gratitude to the large cast and crew for their dedication and teamwork.
Sharing a video featuring the entire cast of the film, Akshay Kumar wrote, “Wishing one and all a very Merry Christmas from the giant cast of Welcome to the Jungle! In cinemas 2026. Never have I ever been part of something so big…none of us have.”

Sharing a celebratory video featuring the ensemble cast, Akshay spoke about the sheer scale of the production. In his message, he admitted that he had never been part of a project of this magnitude, emphasising the uniqueness of the experience for everyone involved.
The video featured several well-known faces, including Suniel Shetty, Paresh Rawal, Arshad Warsi, Raveena Tandon, Jacqueline Fernandez, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, and many others, all walking together with style and confidence.
Festive Wishes and Appreciation
In his message, Akshay thanked the entire team for their tireless efforts and revealed that the film is slated for a 2026 theatrical release. Calling the movie a special gift for fans, he conveyed excitement and pride over completing such a massive project.
Earlier, actor Tusshar Kapoor also confirmed the wrap of the film’s year-end schedule. He shared the update by posting a behind-the-scenes photograph on Instagram.

Presented by Base Industries Group, Welcome to the Jungle is produced by Firoz A. Nadiadwala and directed by Ahmed Khan. Carrying forward the legacy of the successful Welcome franchise, the film promises humour, scale, and entertainment.
The makers plan to release Welcome to the Jungle in mid-2026. They expect it to be a grand comedy entertainer and a major highlight in Akshay Kumar’s illustrious career.
