With a strategic partnership Wipro 3D and Nikon SLM have decided to come together to boost manufacturing in India. Companies announced about the collaboration on Wednesday.
Through this collaboration, the companies hope to promote innovation, streamline production procedures, and encourage the national industry to widely use additive manufacturing.
In an statement, Business Head and General Manager at Wipro 3D, Yathiraj Kasal said, “By leveraging our capabilities and extensive experience in implementing 3D printing solutions across various sectors, we can significantly expand the adoption of additive manufacturing.”

He added that by creating “innovative and cost-effective metal parts and systems domestically,” this programme will favourably impact “Make in India” and “Atmanirbhar Bharat.”
The Nikon SLM 125, SLM 280 2.0, SLM 500, and SLM 800 are among the flexible range of cutting-edge metal additive manufacturing equipment offered by Nikon SLM Solutions.
According to the company, these systems are praiseworthy for their accuracy and fast build rates, which allow Indian manufacturers to construct complicated metal parts quickly and with great quality.
