Richard Chen, Director General (DG) of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Centre (TECC) in Chennai, reiterated Taiwan’s strong commitment to India, emphasizing its role as a trusted partner in India’s industrial transformation.
Speaking at IMTEX 2025, a prominent global machine tool event in Bengaluru, Chen highlighted Taiwan’s alignment with India’s Make in India initiative.

Chen stated, “India’s manufacturing sector is a global leader in machinery, automotive, and defense. It is undergoing a remarkable transformation with Industry 4.0 and IoT.
