Housing Development Finance Corporation

 

The company has sold all of its 9.65% stake in Ruralshores business service. Additionally, it sold 5 lakh shares in HDFC Venture capital, and 10 lakh shares in HDFC Property Ventures. Speaking of, HDFC Venture capital and HDFC Property Ventures are subsidiaries of Vividh Distributers for Rs 0.30 crore and Rs 1.20 crore respectively. However, HDFC paid Rs 25 crore for 3.86% of the shares in Bonito Designs, while the Corporation, through HDFC Capital Advisors, paid Rs 914 crore for 914 compulsorily convertible preference shares (CCPS) in Cognilements.

Vedanta

 

Following media reports stating that Vedanta is selling the Sterlite copper plant in Thoothukudi, the mining company has issued a clarification note to exchanges. The company disputes the aforementioned media reports and regarded it as false, unfounded, and incorrect.

Wipro

 

The IT behemoth is engaging the headlines for expanding its presence in South Africa as it recently inaugurated its new office in Cape Town.

LIC Finance

 

Tribhuwan Adhikari has been designated as the Chief Operating Officer by the Housing Finance company with effect from June 22.

Delhivery

 

In order to exit the Gurugram-based logistics company, CA Swift Investments sold all 1.84 crore equity shares, or 2.53% of the company, in open market transactions for a total of Rs. 709.5 crore, or an average price of Rs. 385.5 per share. On behalf of the Government Petroleum Fund, Norges Bank bought some of those shares in a deal, paying the same price of Rs 156.77 crore for 40.66 lakh equity shares, or 0.55% of the company.

Federal Bank

 

Harsh Dugar has obtained a nod from the Reserve Bank of India to be appointed as the  Executive Director on the board of the bank, for three years.

PNB Housing Finance

 

The housing finance company has obtained approval for issuance if non-convertible debentures worth up to Rs 5,000 crore in tranches on private placement basis.
