LTIMindtree will replace HDFC in the Nifty50 index, effective from July 13, as decided by the Index Maintenance Sub-Committee (Equity) of NSE Indices. Additionally, Jindal Steel & Power will replace HDFC in the Nifty 100 index and LTIMindtree in the Nifty Next 50 index. Mankind Pharma will take HDFC’s place in the Nifty 500 index, and Jindal Steel & Power will replace HDFC in the Nifty Midcap 150 index. LIC Housing Finance will replace HDFC in the Nifty Financial Services index.

 

Indian Oil Corporation

Indian Oil Corporation has scheduled a board of directors meeting on July 7 to discuss raising capital through the right issue of equity shares.

 

Bharat Heavy Electricals

Bharat Heavy Electricals (BHEL) has extended its gas turbine technology agreement with General Electric Technology GmbH Switzerland. BHEL, in partnership with GE, is the leading market player for gas turbines in India. Since 1986, BHEL has manufactured and supplied GE-designed gas turbines in both domestic and international markets.

 

Lemon Tree Hotels

Lemon Tree Hotels has signed a License Agreement for a 48-room property in Udaipur, Rajasthan, under its brand Keys Select by Lemon Tree Hotels. The hotel is expected to commence operations in the fourth quarter of FY2024. The hotel will be operated by Lemon Tree Hotels’ subsidiary, Carnation Hotels.

 

Aurobindo Pharma

Aurobindo Pharma’s subsidiary, CuraTeQ Biologics, has announced positive results in phase 3 clinical trial for its proposed Trastuzumab biosimilar product. Trastuzumab, also known as BP02, is a biosimilar product used for the treatment of breast cancer. This development puts Aurobindo Pharma in the spotlight.
