Adani Energy Solutions Limited (AESL) delivered strong results for the third quarter of FY26 despite challenging market conditions.
CEO Kandarp Patel highlighted that the company’s on-ground execution, operational management, and capital efficiency have driven consistent progress in project development.
Profit before tax jumped 43.2% to Rs 801 crore, while cash profit increased 22.8% to Rs 1,227 crore.
For the first nine months of FY26, AESL’s total income rose 16.2% to Rs 20,737 crore, and EBITDA grew 15.9% to Rs 6,354 crore.
Profit before tax surged 37.3% to Rs 2,205 crore, while cash profit rose 17.1% to Rs 3,435 crore.
Capital expenditure remained strong at Rs 9,294 crore, up from Rs 7,475 crore a year ago.
The company successfully commissioned four transmission projects, including North Karanpura Transmission, Khavda Phase II Part-A, Khavda Pooling Station-1, and the Sangod project.
In smart metering, AESL installed 61.2 lakh meters during the period, taking the cumulative total to 92.5 lakh meters.
AESL maintains strong growth visibility, with ongoing transmission projects worth Rs 77,787 crore and a smart metering order book of 2.46 crore meters, representing revenue potential of Rs 29,519 crore.
The near-term transmission tender pipeline is estimated at Rs 1 lakh crore, reflecting significant market opportunities.
Moody’s Ratings upgraded the outlook for Adani Transmission Step-One Limited and Adani Electricity Mumbai Limited to ‘Stable’, affirming their Baa3 senior secured ratings.
