Adani Enterprises Director Pranav Adani said on Monday that he contributed Rs 15 crore towards the Mumbai Police fleet. The contribution will fund the addition of 100 new cars.
The initiative aims to reinforce the city’s policing capabilities and security infrastructure.
In a post on X, Pranav Adani said the contribution recognises the dedication of Mumbai Police personnel who work around the clock to protect the city. He saluted the men and women in khaki for their service and described it as a privilege to support the expansion of the police fleet.

The Mumbai Police Foundation welcomed the Adani Foundation’s contribution. It said the initiative would support police welfare and strengthen security infrastructure for Mumbai and its residents.
According to the foundation, Pranav Adani visited the Police Headquarters in connection with the contribution. He said he felt proud to make a modest contribution towards the personnel who tirelessly protect the city that never sleeps.
The development comes alongside Pranav Adani’s recent comments on India’s energy sector. Earlier this month, he welcomed the Union Cabinet’s approval of the Samudra Manthan scheme.
Pranav Adani said the initiative could unlock India’s extensive offshore energy potential and accelerate domestic oil and gas exploration. He described the scheme as an important step towards expanding India’s offshore exploration capabilities.
Adani Enterprises Director said the programme would encourage greater industry collaboration and strengthen domestic exploration and production. He added that it could reinforce India’s long-term energy security and support the foundations of an energy-secure Viksit Bharat.
Pranav Adani credited PM Narendra Modi’s leadership on energy security and said India’s energy exploration landscape was entering an era of unprecedented scale.
