The Finance Ministry also shared updates on the Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana (PMSBY) and Pradhan Mantri Jan Dhan Yojana (PMJDY). PMSBY has enrolled 47.59 crore individuals for ₹2 lakh accident insurance coverage. Of the 193,964 claims filed, 147,641 have been disbursed.
