Historic $100 Billion Investment Plan
Last month, Adani announced that the Group will invest nearly $100 billion over the next five years. He described the plan as the largest-ever capital expenditure commitment in India’s private sector history.
“We are strengthening the very spine of India’s rise that must carry 1.4 billion dreams,” Adani said at an event in Mumbai.
Adani said the investments would focus on expanding energy grids, logistics arteries, and the country’s industrial backbone. He highlighted the Group’s transformation of Mundra Port from a salt export jetty into India’s largest multi-cargo port.
“What started in our karmabhoomi has now become a pan-India network of dreams,” he noted.
The Adani Group has grown into the world’s second-largest solar power company and is building the largest single-site hybrid renewable energy park — a 30 GW facility spread over 500 square kilometres.
