Magenta Mobility, a full-stack electric fleet operator, made its entry into the electric four-wheeler commercial vehicle segment on Monday through a strategic agreement with Tata Motors.
The company announced a first agreement with Tata Motors to deploy 500 units of the latter’s Ace EV, which is designed for a range of intra-city applications.
In a statement, Founder and Managing Director of Magenta Mobility, Maxson Lewis said, “Our partnership with Tata Motors marks our entry into electric four-wheel cargo fleet across India. Vinay Pathak, Business Head for SCV&PU at Tata Motors, stated, “This partnership reaffirms our commitment to democratize zero-emission e-cargo mobility solutions across the country, thereby contributing to a cleaner and greener future for India”.
