Adani Energy Solutions Partners With RSWM To Deliver 60 MW Of Renewable Energy

Adani Energy Solutions Ltd (AESL), the country’s largest private transmission company, has entered into a significant partnership with RSWM Ltd to supply 60 MW of green energy.

The agreement, signed under the Group Captive Scheme, marks a major stride in RSWM’s sustainability journey and reinforces its long-term vision of responsible industrial growth.

RSWM, one of India’s leading textile manufacturers and part of the LNJ Bhilwara Group, has invested ₹60 crore in this initiative to secure 31.53 crore units of renewable power annually.

The clean energy will be supplied to RSWM’s multiple manufacturing facilities across Rajasthan.

With this development, renewable energy will contribute up to 70% of RSWM’s total power consumption — a substantial leap from the current 33%.

This move places the company far ahead of India’s national average of 31% in clean energy adoption.

Driving Sustainable Industrial Growth

Riju Jhunjhunwala, Chairman, Managing Director and CEO of RSWM Ltd, described the agreement as a milestone in the company’s sustainability journey.

“This achievement underscores our long-term vision to align growth with sustainability and reinforces our position as a forward-looking industrial leader,” he said. “By sourcing 70% of our energy from renewable sources, RSWM continues to set industry benchmarks in responsible energy transition.”

Rajeev Gupta, Joint Managing Director, RSWM, added that by integrating hybrid power sources, the company is not only reducing its carbon footprint but also enhancing long-term energy security and operational efficiency.

AESL’s Role in India’s Green Transition

Kandarp Patel, CEO of Adani Energy Solutions Ltd, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, saying, “We are delighted to partner with RSWM on this landmark initiative that demonstrates how sustainability is becoming integral to business growth. This partnership highlights the scalability and impact of renewable power in strengthening industrial competitiveness while promoting environmental stewardship.”

AESL’s commercial and industrial (C&I) vertical provides tailored energy solutions to large-scale users, offering reliable and competitively priced green power.

The company further aims to expand its C&I portfolio to 7,000 MW within the next five years.

Adani Energy Solutions currently operates across 16 states, managing a transmission network spanning 26,705 circuit kilometres and a transformation capacity of 97,236 MVA.

Through partnerships like this, AESL continues to support India’s broader clean energy mission — enabling industries such as textiles to transition towards a low-carbon future.

The RSWM-AESL collaboration sets a new benchmark for corporate sustainability in India, demonstrating how renewable energy can power both economic growth and environmental responsibility.
