‘Operation Sindoor’
India launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ in response to the killing of 26 tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.
The mission involved the use of drones and missiles to eliminate nine terror camps in Pakistan’s Punjab region and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir, resulting in the deaths of over 100 terrorists.
Following this, Indian forces targeted key airbases across the border in retaliation for Pakistan’s drone and missile strikes on Indian civilian and military targets.
India’s air defence systems successfully intercepted and neutralised these attempted attacks, demonstrating the armed forces’ high state of readiness and operational capability.
The mission has firmly signalled to terrorist groups and their backers that India will respond to any aggression with swift and resolute action.
