The fifth edition of GreenX Talks unfolded at the Adani Corporate House in Ahmedabad on 27 February, creating an atmosphere centred on inspiration and forward-looking ideas.
The Adani Group organised the event and underscored its belief that true progress depends not merely on expansion but on advancing while ensuring inclusivity.
The programme opened with addresses by Jeet Adani and Diva Adani. Jeet Adani described GreenX as a platform dedicated to celebrating human dignity and excellence. Interpreting its name, he explained that ‘Green’ symbolises continuity, while ‘X’ represents the boundless strength of the human spirit.
Reflecting on leadership and values, he remarked that while power may be fleeting, character endures, urging individuals to shape their own destinies.
Diva Adani spoke about the deeper meaning of inclusion, emphasising that GreenX recognises individuals who earn their place through merit rather than sympathy. She stated that authentic inclusion ensures participation based on capability and achievement.
Inspirational Voices Take the Stage
Among the distinguished speakers was renowned dancer and actress Sudha Chandran, who recounted her journey of resilience and accomplishment. She highlighted that determination, not adversity, defines a person’s path.
Entrepreneur Srikanth Bolla, founder of Bollant Industries, delivered a compelling message on daring to dream beyond limitations. His address illustrated how obstacles can transform into sources of motivation.
The event also welcomed V Vidyavathi, Secretary in the Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities under the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, as the Chief Guest, reflecting the government’s ongoing focus on accessibility and rights-based frameworks.
A major highlight was the presentation of the Adani Ability Awards by Chairman Gautam Adani, honouring achievers in adaptive sports, public service, social entrepreneurship, cultural impact and creative arts. The Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team also received recognition for its remarkable achievements.
Over five years, GreenX Talks has evolved into a meaningful tradition, celebrating courage, perseverance and the enduring power of character.
