Gautam Adani Marks Son Jeet Adani’s Anniversary; Reaffirms ‘Mangal Seva’ Commitment

Billionaire industrialist Gautam Adani has marked the first wedding anniversary of his son Jeet Adani and daughter-in-law Diva by reaffirming their long-term social commitment through the ‘Mangal Seva’ initiative.

The programme focuses on providing sustained financial support to newly married women with disabilities.

In a social media post, Adani reflected on the milestone while highlighting the couple’s decision to dedicate their wedding to a broader social cause. He confirmed that the initiative will continue to offer Rs 10 lakh each year to 500 newlywed disabled women through the Adani Foundation.

The Adani Foundation launched ‘Mangal Seva’ on Jeet and Diva’s wedding day in 2025.

The programme works in collaboration with Youth4Jobs, a non-profit organisation that supports employment and inclusion for persons with disabilities.

The initiative aims to strengthen financial security for Divyang families at the start of married life.

According to the Foundation, the scheme promotes dignity and inclusion by easing the economic pressures that often accompany marriage for families supporting women with disabilities.

Annual assistance under the programme ensures continuity rather than one-time relief.

Photographs shared alongside the post showed large community gatherings and beneficiaries participating in the initiative.

The images, however, underlined the programme’s scale and its reach across diverse regions.

Many beneficiaries appeared alongside their families, reflecting community-level engagement.

Gautam Adani described the initiative as a source of great personal pride. He said witnessing his son and daughter-in-law embrace service-oriented values brought greater satisfaction than any material achievement.

He emphasised that meaningful philanthropy strengthened both families and society.

The post received widespread positive responses. Several users praised the family’s focus on inclusion and social responsibility.

Others highlighted the initiative’s alignment with Hindu values of seva, compassion, and collective upliftment.

From a business perspective, the initiative reinforces the Adani Group’s broader corporate social responsibility framework.

The Foundation has long prioritised education, healthcare, livelihoods, and inclusion, particularly for marginalised communities.

Observers noted that ‘Mangal Seva’ reflects a growing trend among India’s leading business families to integrate personal milestones with structured philanthropy.

By linking family events with long-term social programmes, such initiatives create sustained impact beyond symbolic gestures.

As ‘Mangal Seva’ enters its second year, the Adani Foundation reiterated its commitment to scale and consistency.

The programme continues to stand as a model of inclusive philanthropy rooted in long-term social investment rather than short-term charity.
