Tech giant Apple has launched its highly awaited iPhone 16 series, boasting impressive upgrades across its lineup, along with new additions to its Apple Watch and AirPods collections.
The iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max, equipped with the cutting-edge A18 Pro chip, deliver a significant leap in performance.
The 48MP Fusion camera features a faster quad-pixel sensor, offering the ability to record 4K120 fps video in Dolby Vision, making it a game-changer for videography enthusiasts.
These devices are available in striking titanium finishes; black, natural, white, and desert and offer storage options ranging from 128GB to 1TB.
Starting at Rs 119,900 for the iPhone 16 Pro and Rs 144,900 for the iPhone 16 Pro Max, the devices will be available for pre-order in India from 13 September, with official sales starting 20 September.
Apple’s more accessible iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Plus models come in vibrant colors such as ultramarine, teal, pink, white, and black. These phones start at Rs 79,900 and Rs 89,900 respectively and will be available for pre-order on the same dates.
Apple’s Greg Joswiak Highlights iPhone 16 Technological Leap For Creativity & Productivity
Greg Joswiak, Apple’s senior VP of Worldwide Marketing, emphasized the technological leap, stating, “These iPhones allow users to enhance their creativity and productivity effortlessly, from applying advanced photo edits to capturing cinematic moments in 4K120 Dolby Vision.”
In addition to the iPhones, Apple introduced the new Apple Watch Series 10, which offers refined design and innovative health and fitness features.
The watch now includes sleep apnea notifications, water depth and temperature sensors, and enhanced fitness tracking with watchOS 11.
Available in aluminum and titanium finishes, including a sleek jet black option, the Series 10 is priced from Rs 46,900, while the more affordable Watch SE starts at Rs 24,900.
Meanwhile, pre-orders start on 13 September, with availability beginning 20 September.
Apple has unveiled the rugged Apple Watch Ultra 2, featuring the brightest display on any Apple product and highly accurate GPS.
It offers up to 36 hours of battery life (or 72 hours in Low Power Mode), making it ideal for adventure seekers. The new black titanium finish adds to its premium look.
AirPods fans can now get their hands on the AirPods 4, starting at Rs 12,900, with a more premium Active Noise Cancellation model available for Rs 17,900.
Apple lists the AirPods Pro 2 at Rs 24,900, while the new AirPods Max with USB-C charging costs Rs 59,900.
All products will hit stores on 20 September, setting the stage for a tech-filled upgrade season.
