Ambuja Cements Limited, part of the Adani Group portfolio, delivered a strong financial performance for the quarter and full year ending March 31.

The company reported its highest-ever quarterly revenue of Rs 10,915 crore, registering a 9 per cent year-on-year rise. It also achieved its best-ever quarterly sales volume of 19.9 million tonnes, reflecting a 10 per cent increase compared to the corresponding period last fiscal year, as per its stock exchange filing.

Operating EBITDA reached Rs 1,464 crore, with a margin of 13.4 per cent, while EBITDA per million tonne stood at Rs 735.

The company retained a debt-free status and declared a dividend of Rs 2 per equity share.

Vinod Bahety, Whole Time Director and CEO, stated, “FY26 has been a year of resilience for the cement sector amid consolidation, GST 2.0 reforms, adverse weather, geopolitical tensions, and election-related disruptions.”

Vinod Bahety added that the company delivered steady performance despite these headwinds.

During the quarter, Ambuja completed the amalgamation of Sanghi and Penna Cement businesses.

Sanghi Cement was delisted effective April 6, 2026. ACC and Orient Cement have filed applications and await approvals.

The firm commissioned a 3 MTPA clinker line at Jodhpur and began trial runs for a 1.2 MTPA grinding unit at Dahej.

Green energy usage rose to 32 per cent from 26 per cent last year. Rising fuel, diesel, packaging costs, and rupee depreciation due to the West Asia conflict posed challenges. These pressures may continue into early FY27.

Ambuja plans cost optimisation, higher renewable adoption, and logistics efficiency improvements. It reported a net worth of Rs 71,846 crore and cash reserves of Rs 1,770 crore, supported by AAA/A1+ ratings.
