Adani Ports Reports Strong FY26 Earnings On Cargo Growth And Logistics Expansion

Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Limited posted a solid financial performance for FY26, with net profit rising 16 per cent year-on-year to Rs 12,782 crore. Higher cargo volumes and expansion across its business segments drove the growth.

Revenue for the year increased 25 per cent to Rs 38,736 crore. Growth across port operations, logistics services and marine activities drove the increase.

Operating performance remained robust, with EBITDA climbing 20 per cent to Rs 22,851 crore.

A major milestone during the year was the company handling more than 500 million metric tonnes of cargo. It became the first integrated transport operator in India to cross this level in a single financial year.

For the March quarter, APSEZ reported revenue of Rs 10,738 crore, up 26 per cent from a year earlier.

EBITDA for the quarter rose 20 per cent to Rs 6,020 crore, while net profit increased 9 per cent to Rs 3,308 crore.

Growth was seen across segments. Domestic port operations recorded a 13 per cent rise in revenue, aided by higher market share and improved capital efficiency. International operations performed more strongly, with revenue increasing 34 per cent, driven by capacity additions such as the NQXT terminal in Australia and higher activity at Colombo.

The logistics business emerged as a key contributor. Revenue surged 55 per cent year-on-year, driven by expansion in trucking and global freight services.

The marine division, however, recorded a sharp 134 per cent jump in revenue, supported by fleet growth to 136 vessels.

The company also reported an improvement in return on capital employed to 16 per cent, up from 15 per cent in the previous year.

The board has recommended a dividend of Rs 7.5 per share for FY26, subject to shareholder approval.
