Adani Group and Jabil Inc have announced their intention to establish a strategic alliance to create a world-class, vertically integrated AI and data centre infrastructure manufacturing platform in India.
The collaboration aims to make India a global hub for AI hardware manufacturing and exports while meeting rising demand for AI-ready infrastructure.
Jabil brings six decades of engineering expertise. Adani contributes infrastructure, green energy, logistics and data centre capabilities.
Together, the companies intend to address increasing requirements from hyperscalers, enterprises and co-location providers.
Under the proposed initiative, the partners plan to develop multi-gigawatt AI rack manufacturing capacity in India.
The platform will manufacture next-generation liquid-cooled AI racks, servers, storage systems and networking equipment using advanced production technologies.
The collaboration will cover a complete AI infrastructure ecosystem. It will include PDUs, CDUs, transformers, switchgears, bus bars and thermal management solutions.
The company aims to provide an integrated design-to-deployment hardware platform for global infrastructure developers.
The initiative targets a market opportunity exceeding USD 3 trillion over the next seven years, driven by accelerating investments in artificial intelligence computing infrastructure.
Gautam Adani said the partnership marks a major step in building India’s AI infrastructure value chain. He said it will connect green energy generation with advanced hardware manufacturing.
Jabil CEO Mike Dastoor stated that the collaboration would combine both organisations’ strengths to deliver scalable AI solutions for global customers.
The alliance aligns with Adani Group’s commitment to develop 5 GW of green-energy-powered AI-ready data centres by 2035. It supports the next phase of the Make in India vision by strengthening domestic manufacturing. It also boosts supply chain resilience and creates thousands of high-skilled engineering jobs.
