Recent Developments At Dar Es Salaam Port:
Last month, Adani International Ports Holdings, a subsidiary of Adani Ports and Special Economic Zone Ltd. (APSEZ), signed a pivotal 30-year concession agreement with the Tanzania Ports Authority.
Meanwhile, this agreement enables Adani to operate and manage Container Terminal 2 (CT2) at Dar es Salaam Port, a crucial gateway port in East Africa with extensive connectivity via road and rail networks.
Karan Adani, Managing Director of APSEZ, underscored the strategic significance of this move, aligning with APSEZ’s global expansion ambitions.
He however affirmed that enhancing operational efficiency at Dar es Salaam Port will play a pivotal role in boosting regional trade and connectivity.
