Adani Energy Solutions Limited reported a 32 per cent year-on-year rise in adjusted net profit to ₹2,393 crore in FY26, supported by double-digit EBITDA expansion and stable depreciation.

EBITDA climbed 12.7 per cent to a record ₹8,726 crore, driven by strong performance in transmission and smart metering, alongside steady distribution operations.

Total income increased 15.9 per cent to an all-time high of ₹28,325 crore, aided by improved operational efficiency and higher Service Concession Arrangement income, reflecting enhanced capital expenditure execution.

CEO Kandarp Patel stated that consistent execution and disciplined capital allocation underpinned the company’s performance.

During Q4 FY26, income rose 15 per cent year-on-year to ₹7,588 crore. EBITDA grew 4.9 per cent to ₹2,372 crore, while profit after tax reached ₹723 crore, marginally higher than ₹714 crore in the same period last year. Adjusted PAT increased 27.7 per cent year-on-year.

The company commissioned five transmission projects, including the Mumbai HVDC project, becoming the only private player in India to execute two HVDC projects. It also surpassed deployment of one crore smart meters, reinforcing its infrastructure leadership.

Capital expenditure rose 1.24 times to ₹14,232 crore.

The transmission project pipeline under construction stands at ₹71,779 crore, while the smart meter order book totals 2.46 crore units with revenue potential of ₹29,519 crore.

AESL also secured a BBB+ (Stable) long-term foreign currency rating from the Japan Credit Rating Agency, aligned with India’s sovereign rating.
