The heritage-themed terminal will showcase Rajasthan’s culture, giving international tourists a taste of the state’s traditions. Visitors attending the upcoming Rising Rajasthan Global Investment Summit from December 9-11 will experience the newly renovated terminal.
New Infrastructure and Aviation Goals
The Chief Minister also mentioned that 10 immigration counters have been set up in the departure area, with 14 in the arrival area, along with 10 check-in counters. Passengers will also have access to duty-free outlets, a medical room, 24-hour ambulance service, and a lounge.
CM Sharma underscored the state government’s focus on expanding Rajasthan’s aviation sector, aiming for air access to every district. Plans include constructing helipads in all border districts and district headquarters. He credited Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership in making India the world’s third-largest domestic aviation market and enhancing air travel accessibility for the middle class.
Sharma concluded by affirming that the state’s development and investment initiatives will contribute significantly to making Rajasthan a developed state in a rapidly advancing nation.
