Adani Airport Holdings Limited (AAHL), a unit of Adani Enterprises Ltd (AEL) and India’s largest private airport operator, announced a strategic collaboration on Thursday with AIONOS, an InterGlobe Enterprises firm and global AI solutions leader, to enhance passenger experience and service efficiency across its airports.
As part of the collaboration, AIONOS will introduce its advanced Agentic AI platform, IntelliMate, which will deliver real-time, personalised assistance to travellers through voice, chat, web, and mobile channels.
The multilingual, omni-channel solution is designed to transform customer engagement and streamline passenger support across all Adani-operated airports.
The IntelliMate platform will serve as a 24/7 digital concierge, assisting travellers with essential services such as flight schedules, gate information, baggage updates, navigation, and general airport queries.
The system will support multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and regional dialects, ensuring accessibility for passengers from diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Through this AI integration, passengers will receive consistent and contextual responses across different platforms, significantly improving service quality and reducing response time.
The initiative also aims to make airport travel more inclusive and efficient for all users.
The partnership forms a key component of AAHL’s ongoing digital transformation strategy, which prioritises comfort, convenience, and customised experiences for passengers.
The company’s digital roadmap focuses on three major areas: strengthening collaboration within the airport ecosystem, enhancing passenger experience, and building future-ready digital infrastructure.
Leadership Perspectives
“Our vision is to redefine the airport experience through intelligent, digital-first innovations that put passengers at the centre,” stated Arun Bansal, CEO of Adani Airport Holdings Limited. “With AIONOS, we are taking a major step towards creating seamless, personalised journeys across all our airports. Alongside our in-house platforms such as Aviio, Adani OneApp, and Airport-in-a-Box, “we are building a connected and sustainable airport ecosystem.”
Echoing this vision, CP Gurnani, Co-founder and Vice Chairman of AIONOS, asserted, “We are excited to partner with AAHL in this transformative journey. This collaboration reflects our shared goal of using advanced AI technologies to create world-class customer experiences and help enterprises achieve their digital ambitions.”
The tie-up between Adani Airports and AIONOS represents a landmark development in India’s aviation industry, signalling a major leap toward intelligent, passenger-centric airport operations.
