A joint ‘Security Review Meet’ was held at Awantipur, Pulwama today to review and discuss the prevailing Security Situation in South Kashmir. The meeting was co-chaired by GOC Victor Force and V K Birdi, IGP Kashmir Zone, with senior officials from the Army and J&K police in attendance.

Ministry of Home Affairs has issued a notification declaring December 26, 2023 as the date on which the provisions of Jammu and Kashmir Reservation (Amendment) Act, 2023 will come into force.
