The High Court did not spare Urban Development Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj either, criticizing him for turning a blind eye to the situation and merely offering insincere sympathies.

Previously, the court remanded accused Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS) leader K. Kavita to judicial custody until May 7.

Opposing Singh's petition, the women wrestlers contended that it was a delaying tactic. Delhi Police had previously filed a charge sheet against Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on June 15 under sections 354, 354A, 354D, and 506 of the Indian Penal Code.
