The bench rebuked FSSAI's counsel, expressing disbelief over the lack of clarity regarding the safety of consumed food products.

The plea was lodged by the editor-in-chief of a television channel, who emphasized the necessity for guidelines from the Central Government to curb the misuse of deepfake or AI technologies.

The bench also emphasized that during holidays, judges utilize their time to write judgments for the cases they have presided over, implying that these periods are not merely breaks but crucial for the judicial process.

Justice Hari Shankar noted that although the government had challenged the court's decision before the Division Bench, it hadn't been overturned or suspended.
