Guru Govind Singh Jayanti today on 29h December has a message for all

Guru Govind Singh Jayanti : The year 2022 concludes with Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti on 29th December. Though Indian Sikh families mainly celebrate the festival, but Hindus also have gratitude towards what Guru Govind Singh did for the religion. Thus this day is also celebrated by Hindus across India.

Guru Govind Singh Jayanti : 29th of December month this year is the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh ji,who is known as the tenth Sikh guru. Guru Gobind Singh was also known to stand for those who were helpless facing the atrocities by Mughal kings.

Guru Govind Singh Jayanti :  Being a hardcore warrior, Guru Gobind Singh was also a poet, writer and spiritual guru. Today on the Guru Gobind Singh Jayanti people do send good wishes to each other in the country.

In today’s fast-running life, we hardly have time to remember our great men like Guru Govind Singh ji, nevertheless, it comes on our part to thank them for what they have done for us and for the generations after them.

Guru’s Jayanti is also known as Prakash Parva

Guru Govind singh jayanti is also a pious festival for all of us, for all Indians known as Prakash parv. His Jayanti being the Prakash Parv has its own message to bring light of knowledge and religion for the sake of our society’s welfare.

Founded the Khalsa Panth

As one of the most brave and spiritual guru, Guru Gobind Singh founded the Khalsa Panth in order to safeguard religion and society. Guru Govind Singh instructed the Sikhs to wear five religious symbols of life and thus Kesh, Kangha, Kirpan, Kachchha and Kadaa are the five elements which are significant to be worn in life.

Langar, Bhajan, Keertan and Ardas are observed

Following Guruji’s instructions all the people of Sikh community organize Langar, Ardas, Bhajan and Keertan and this is particularly done during the celebration of the Prakash Parv. Celebrating the biggest Sikh festival on Prakash Parve all the gurdwara across the globe are also filled with Langars.
