Rohit Sharma
In a video released by BCCI.tv, team India fielding coach T Dilip stated that captain Rohit Sharma of India got the best fielder award for his “tactical awareness” against South Africa.
To win the prize, Rohit Sharma defeated Ravindra Jadeja, KL Rahul, and Suryakumar Yadav.
Dilip opens the team meeting after the game by saying, “The beauty of our team is that we just fly on the field, but we also don’t field with hands but with a genuine commitment.”
This reminds me of a very basic yet profound saying, which I believe states that each person on our team is our greatest asset. The dressing room applauds him as he remarks, “And I think each member’s strength is our team.”
Regarding Suryakumar Yadav, Dilip remarks, “I think our new entry, SKY (Suryakumar Yadav), did really show that his quickness and his effort on the field were fantastic.”
He gestures to KL Rahul and says, “And our GPS navigator keeps doing his skills very well but also working with the team.”

And the best fielder in the world will continue to do what he does, no matter what. When speaking of Ravindra Jadeja, Dilip remarks, “He never leaves a single and takes all the catches.”
“And now for the significant one. Because of his tactical prowess in positioning the fielders, I refer to him as the professor. As a squad, we established some team philosophies a year ago, with putting one’s body on the line being crucial. Regarding Rohit Sharma, Dilip remarks, “If anyone comes as a first example, it’s the captain.”

“We have been emphasizing one thing. It isn’t about making one or two excellent catches. Everything matters, even the spark you bring to the group, and today we’re celebrating outside in the city of Joy,” he continues.
